I was really disappointed with the ending of The Wheel of Time. Much of this book felt like a non-sequitur from previous volumes. The finish was anti-climactic. And the conclusion of the most important storyline was completely off, for me.

What an epic conclusion to an amazing series. I'm still in awe of how Brandon Sanderson was able to take the world that was so masterfully created by Jordan and master the pacing the way he did. 

I have some minor observations like how Sanderson's handling of large scale battles doesn't quite hold up to Jordan's but the individual fights and character arcs were beautiful. I was brought to tears several times. I think every single character's ending was handled with care that was fitting for the love and time spent bringing them to life, regardless of my personal feelings on how each of them ended up. 

I will definitely be reading more of Sanderson's work and will also be re-reading the Wheel of Time again. I am heart broken to reach the end but know that there are neither endings nor beginnings to the turning of the wheel of time. But it is an ending, and an ending I deeply and thoroughly enjoyed.

The ending reminded me bit of the Dark Tower series by Stephen King…everything on a loop. I think if I didn’t read the Dark Tower I would have been more in awe by this end

IMO, a wonderful ending to an epic journey. I started WoT ~ 15 years ago and stopped at book 8. Because of the TV show, I started all over again. Although several of the books in the middle were WAY too slow and felt like work to finish, the last four books made it all worthwhile. I just finished this morning and it was emotional, not only because of what happened in the final battle, but because these books have been an active part of my life for so long. I was eager to start knocking off other books on my shelf, but I've decided to "sit" with this feeling and really grieve the end of this WoT road trip I've travelled so long.

This book series nearly broke me Great series but way to long k both books and pages each book could have had 300-400 pages per book out and the 191 page chapter was to long
