I don’t know how to feel about this book. While I mostly enjoyed reading it, it’s one of those books that become more flawed the more I think about them. The first chapters and the build up to the gallery were way too slow compared to when we actually reach it. I read the final page and was left thinking „that’s it?“

Not my usual type of book, very dark and disturbing and the main characters are unlikeable. However the story is very original and it’s hard to put down. There is a few scenes/parts that were too long with little going on - however looking back it helped built the character.

I guess the protagonist kind of gave me the ick and I couldn't keep reading, but in the future I will give it another chance

I feel like this book just didn't do it for me. I felt like the commentary it was trying to make wasn't there and in depth enough to work for me. I can see why people would really like this book but for me the ending also felt very unsatisfactory like we went from not a lot happening, to picking up pace and some great commentary lines and than it just kinda ended. I am happy with a lot of books being left in the air for your interpretation I just don't think it work for this book.
