the writing style and scene descriptions sound as though it is written by a misogynist white man and it is painful to try and read

Sickeningly sweet… I could have done without the sex after the 7th scene

This was my first Lucy Score novel and it did not disappoint. I really liked this, even though I wanted to yell at Harper and Luke many, many times throughout. Despite it all, I understand why they are the way they are and I found myself totally immersed in this book. You will experience ALL of the emotions - this is a fantastic read and I can't wait to get book two!

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for providing me with an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I hate tiktok for making me read this because I'm addicted. I adore Harper. It writes like a smutty hallmark movie and I am living for it.

I just couldn't get into this. The storyline seemed stale, and I couldn't connect with the MCs. She was interesting but seemed really immature, and he was uncommunicative and kept BIG secrets. Too much insta-lust and not enough creativity or solid content.
