I have very minimal interest in the majority of Avengers titles and honestly began reading this by accident, but managed to become invested enough in it that I'm excited to continue the series.
While I usually dislike time travel plots, the one included in this volume was decently written and not needlessly complex and confusing.
The team doesn't have the greatest flow starting out since they came together out of necessity, but some characters have already formed closer bonds throughout the first few issues so I'm looking forward to seeing how they all grow as a group.

Enjoyable direction for this title. I like the Nova-Ms. Marvel interplay. Lady Thor continues to be wildly amusing. And there's some fun fan-trolling in here--a couple bystanders rescued by (black) Captain America and (female) Thor complain about having to be saved by the "politically correct Avengers" and a justly, if subtly, painted as morons for it.
Also, timeline shenanigans. That's always fun!

Considering I have fallen in love with three of these characters and am open to loving the ones I haven’t me yet (which is pretty much the rest of them), this was really underwhelming. The action was basic and fun, but there were just so many characters meeting and working together for the first time that none of them got a chance to shine. None of them interacted more than tossing out a quip in the middle of a fight. The only sightly memorable scene was Sam finding out Thor's identity and joining her while she undergoes chemo. Other than that, everything felt like a fun but forgettable one off story.
4.5/5 stars
I have a lot of things to say about this, so when I post a review up on my blog, I'll insert it riiiiiiggggghttttt- Here
The rundown: this volume is great, and it's an awesome way to prompt people to pick up the solo series of the heroes making up this new Avengers team- I know I'm boosting some of them up my TBR!
