Beautiful writing, beautiful illustrations, beautiful story everything about this book was great! I cried but I think that is just what I needed from this book to make me emotional and make me feel something! Amazing!!

This one is from my school tbr, and literally, I'd love that the most before Holly Jackson came

It’s currently 12:30 pm and I am crying my eyes out. I have to be at school tomorrow at 8:15 am. I doubt if this book will be everyone’s cup of tea but whatever it contains, it has worked its magic on me. I am going to cry some more now, not even because of the book itself but I’m kinda depressed having read it already?? I want this book to be 1000 pages.

When I tell you this book DESTROYED me. Utterly and fully destroyed. The fact that his mother wanted to give Conor more time just kills me

This book helps you deal with a horrible situation.

I finished this in one day, and it nearly tore me apart. This is such a wonderful book with a really important message for anyone, child or adult, who has had to face the illness of someone they love.

After reading the book, (which is always better) I watched the movie on Netflix. It was good. There were, of course, changes to the movie, some of which were good, some of which weren't really necessary, in my opinion, but I would recommend watching it after reading the book, if you can.

Love this. 5 stars.

2.5-3 stars. This was just ok for me. I was so excited for this book because of all the 5 star reviews. I even ordered the hard covered version so I could experience the illustrations and all! I didn't cry. I read so many reviews how this "destroyed" them. "Saddest book ever read" etc. etc. I know I'm not that cold hearted, but this just didn't do that for me. The writing is good. The illustrations are neat. But I just didn't connect with this story. I was so hoping I'd love it. I'll have my 12 year old read it and see what she thinks. I wouldn't tell people to not read this because I think for some (and going by the reviews, MOST) people will connect and appreciate this story and it's message.
