As someone who is dealing with losing a parent to a terminal illness, I found this book to be so moving and so well written. This book, I found to be so relatable but also helped me prepare myself for my own loss. I loved this book. It’s a real tear jerker but also makes you value what you have in life as well as understand that the world is not always so black and white.
This book made me feel. I recently read a book that wasn’t bad- just a bit contrived. It was about a subject that should have made me really feel for the main character. But it didn’t.
This book was the exact opposite. I ached for the main character the whole way through. I loved the idea and the rawness of the story. It hit me hard. Truth.

Recommended by someone who knew some tough things about me. Every chapter I thought I could see where it was going more and more, but still in the end it left me with a lot of challenging questions. I think this book opens emotions and can really help anyone navigate through mental battles.
