No puedo explicar lo mal que estoy en este momento, lo mal que me dejó este libro y si tan solo alguien me hubiera dicho cuan triste era, probablemente no estaría acá.
Pero que decirles, a pesar de todo el sufrimiento por el cuál estoy pasando ahora, este libro es hermoso

A heartbreaking but beautiful story that had me crying at the end. It highlights the imminent loss of a loved one and the many ways in which people cope with such a dreaded process. All the characters have their own way of coping but each has been very sensitively described and their reactions feel genuine and real. Will most certainly reread!

Maybe I was expecting the author to exaggerate things, to try and make people cry, to put fancy words as the monster's sayings and all that already burnt techniques, but he didn't. I felt Connor's anger, sadness, I knew he knew, and with every page I felt it coming like his very own nightmare. It was as real as the eyes of a boy could dig, real enough for me to be there with him.
