Haunting
The first time in ages that I've wondered what the characters are doing now, how they're responding to what's happening.

The book took me almost two years to finish. I started it but it was so painfully slow and the main character was completely insufferable.
After a while it becomes more bearable, the characters become more if not loveable then at least understandable. 
All in all, an interesting read.

This is not the sort of book that I typically would have picked up the shelves on my own. However, I was very impressed by the creative plot and the style of writing. The Wolf Border is full of emotion and secrets. All of the characters are flawed, which makes the story very real and emotional.
