Couldn't put it down, even at 3 a.m. when my newborn had finished eating and I was incredibly tired. Very, very fast read. Wasn't crazy about the format at first (lots of run-on, simplisticly formatted sentences and no quotation marks), but it fit with the gory, very masculine meme.

An excellent book. The dialogue in this book stands out; it is spare and chilling (although not punctuated properly, which I found annoying at times). This is one of the rare instances where I watched the movie before reading the book, and I think that approach worked here.

Warning: you may find yourself having nightmares about a psychopathic killer who quietly smiles while using a pressurized gas cannister to punch holes in human skulls.

Some of the sections with Chigurh are incredibly tense. I enjoyed this, but did feel a bit underwhelmed when it ended.
