McCarthy is a genius, his writing is unbelievably gripping. He will never not be one of my favorite masters of storytelling.

The movie adaption is one of my favorite movies ever, so I finally convinced myself into reading it in Austria over the summer. I love McCarthys descriptions of the environments, and it adds so much more tension to it. The lesson of romanticism of the past is present throughout the entire novel, yet keeps a sense of realism throughout the book. Give it a go.

The dialogue in this book is so annoying and poorly written by someone who is regarded as one of the great American writers. A bleak introspective look at how we are being betrayed by a country we’re supposed to take pride in. Old men be yapping, bro.
