I give this a 4-4.5, I haven’t quite decided yet. I very much enjoyed the book, but it was a rollercoaster of emotions. When I first started the book I really thought I wasn’t going to like or even finish it. I’m so glad I pushed through. The story was so well woven that at the end the pieces were just snapping into place. There was one character that I knew was off from the moment they were introduced, so I’m glad I was right about that. But, me guess how this book ended or what and why it happened, I could never.

I could have done with the extra game players stories at the end. I understand it closed it, but I don’t think all the details were necessary. I enjoyed the romance aspects of the book, but man was I ANGRY when Evan went to South Carolina and got that news. That’s all I’ll say because I don’t want to spoil it. But, angry!!

Overall, really enjoyed it and I look forward to reading more work by Mia Sheridan.

Definitely recommend if you like a good twisty, whodunit with some romance sprinkled in!

I really enjoyed this book. The mystery/suspenseful parts of the book were very well written. There was a few twist that did surprise me. For the most part the ending and truth that was discovered was wild, and a shock. Unfortunately I had a feeling I knew one of the twist at the end, and I was correct.
