Henry's father, Henry VII, even briefly considered marrying Katherine when his wife died. (Ick. Royals be nasty.)

Reading this was a lot of fun and really interesting. Catherine of Aragon is a historical figure I've admired since reading Alison Weir's Six Wives of Henry the Eight. She was such a strong woman and her capability and fierceness of trying to prove the truth of her marriage. It is very admirable to see her life and how she got through it, never failing to stop loving Henry, her rightful husband, despite his behaviour and willingness to get rid of her. Also, despite reading the Six Wives of Henry the Eight and also seeing in this book, that Henry is the villain, I can't make myself to Anne Boleyn, even though she did not deserve her fate for sure and the execution was the most insensitive thing Henry could've done.
