I absolutely loved how short, sweet and low stress this book was. It was everything I needed and the perfect pallet cleanser. I came for the best friend’s brother trope and stayed for all the swoony, spicy and banter filled moments. I absolutely loved the professions each character had. The dynamic between an obgyn and pro hockey player was everything. I am quickly becoming a huge Bella Matthew’s fan and can’t wait to see where she takes the rest of this series.
This was the perfect book to the start of the series. I couldn’t get enough and read it in one day. Must read book.

I enjoyed this audiobook. Bella Mattews is a new to me author. I loved Nixon and Kenzies relationship from the get. They were cute together and got that eachother were busy with their respective careers. I loved how their families kept pushing them together. The cast of side characters was great! I even loved the Gossip Girl vibes of the local "news" reporter.
The only negative thing about this audiobook for me was I didnt care for the male narrator. The way he dictated and overly annunciated his word drove me crazy and made it hard to connect with his character.

This was my first Bella Matthew’s book and I really enjoyed her writing style. I love a good fake dating romance and this one did not disappoint. The characters were enjoyable. The only thing I would say is you get a lot of other character names thrown at you and I wasn’t sure if they were from her other books… so I was like should I have read her other books first. But other than that I loved Nixon and Kenzie
I have loved Kenzie since way back when! Back to the days of Jules and Beckett! And Nixon, ugh, he is so swoon worthy! Bella just continues to out do her self with this world and these characters! 5 stars really is never enough! Nix and Kenzie are perfect and always meant to be! I really loved seeing Easton and his protective side again ! As always, 10/10 recommend!

I listened to the audiobook for this one. The narrators did a great job. I loved it, but I knew I would with these tropes. I can’t wait to read more from this series. Even though this was my first Bella Matthews, I will be reading more.
