I want to grab her face in my hands and kiss her. Slam her up against the wall and fuck her.

This was exactly what I needed! Super sweet and steamy with excellent MCs. Boy falls first has become my newest favorite trope. I absolutely adored Nixon and Mac’s relationship.

Nixon is boyfriend goals - playfully obsessed with his woman. Willing to give her the time to get to where he is. Madly in love with her. There was no doubt that their fake relationship/bedroom lessons would stay that way.

Tempting is a fast burn and super spicy MF romance filled with multiple toe curling and swooning moments.

While this can be read as a standalone - Nixon and Mac get their HEA - I feel it would be best read in publishing order. There are a TON of characters from the previous books that make their appearances here. I got a little confused when multiple names were thrown about. It did not take away from my enjoyment of the story.

If you need a light read that makes you smile, this one’s for you!

Tempting (Red Lips & White Lies #1) is a best friend’s sibling, hockey romance.

I really enjoyed Kenzie and Nixon’s story. The chemistry between them was fire and sweet. I devoured their story and I loved their lessons. I can’t get enough of these wild and hilarious family dynamics. Their story was packed with sweet moments and heartbreaking emotions. I am so excited for the next book in the series.

I was new to Bella Matthews when I read this book, but I might be obsessed with Kroydon Hills universe now! The chaos that this group of family and friends like to create is absolutely hilarious! I lived to read the text threads and other interactions between them all during this book.

Nixon Sinclair was literally the perfect book boyfriend and always in the middle of the chaos of the group, however Kenzie had just moved back from med school and was still hanging out on the outskirts of the group at the beginning.

The shy Kenzie, who put her personal life on the back burner during med school, literally fell into a fake-dating situation with long time friend hockey star Nixon, who just also happens to be on her brother’s hockey team.

Nix was NOT shy about what he wanted and when this man realized his feelings for Kenzie, he fell and he fell HARD and it was a fun ride.

My already long TBR just got significantly longer with Bella’s Kroydon Hills backlist!

Mackenzie has returned home to work as a gynecologist in the small town where she grew up in, surrounded by brothers and sisters, lots of cousins and friends. Nixon has always had a crush on Mac but she was oblivious. Mac was too busy studying and going to school. One night Mac us approached by a supervising doctor who us a little to handsy and makes Mac feel uncomfortable. Nixon notices this and pretends to be her boyfriend. Suddenly their parents and friends are all asking what’s going on. Nixon and Mac agree to a friends with benefits arrangement because she’s busy with work and he travels playing hockey. Except this friends with benefits thing really doesn’t work well when feelings get involved. Loved this small town romance with everyone in their business. Loved Nixon he was strong, possessive and a great dirty talker. Mac was the perfect mix of intelligent woman that was just to busy to have a life and a relationship until they were presented to her.
