Just wasn't in the right mood to grab me... I put it down to make dinner and then just never picked it up again.

I really liked this book! Once thing I will say, it might be worth starting from Bella's first book and going in order because the family dynamic is crazy big and I was left confused a few times with who's who.

But the book was super fast paced, a perfect quick read, funny, spicy, not gonna lie Miss Bella Matthews GAGGED ME at the end hahahaha but I liked it!!

Excited to start her back log from begining to end haha

“The most satisfying, possessive feeling I’ve had burns behind my ribs. Seeing this beautiful girl in my jersey, with my name stretched across the back, declaring her mine for the entire world to see . . . Yeah. That feeling isn’t going away any time soon.”

Tempting is the first book in the new Red Lips & White Lies series by Bella Matthews. Dang, I love all the Sinclair/Kingston/Hayes next gen love connections! Three things I’ve learned I long for in a Bella Matthews romance (and only part of why I love them so much). 1) A swoony cinnamon roll MMC with a dirty mouth and a panty-melting possessive side. 2) A lovable boss bish FMC with a backbone and an enviable squad. 3) Delicious witty banter in & out of the bedroom. I loved Kenzie and Nixon’s love story; two longtime friends who fake date for reasons then find love was a fabulous premise. I LOVE a “love lessons” trope, but mix in some jersey-wearing possessiveness and teenage crush fulfillment, and this romance trope cocktail was top shelf! Bella gave Nixon and Kenzie a complex and healing journey together and as individuals. The Kroydon Hills fan always shows up and steps up, and being there for Mackenzie and Nix is no exception, I adore them all! Bella’s use of the Kroydon Chronicles blog posts for exposition interludes are fun and further the story. I’m obsessed with the “secret thoughts” that kickoff the FMC chapters in these books. From their flirty rapport to their supportive friendship, I loved every aspect of Nix and Mac’s relationship; these two left my heart a puddle of mush!
