I think a BIG reason why I loved this book so much as I did is Daphne. I just really connected to her character, and related to her on some fronts as well. I thought her personal character journey throughout this book was so interesting, and unlike anything I have seen in romance books before. I thought it was incredibly well executed as well.
I also just adored her relationship with Miles though. I just thought they worked togehter perfectly. I adore the way their relationship develops, and how they get to know each other more and more throughout the novel. Their emotional connection was just absolutely everything. I also think Emily Henry did a great job balacing them getting over their exes, and healing from their heartbreaks, with them falling in love with each other. It's something that isn't easy to do, something I have seen many books try and fail to do, and it's just so effortlessly done in this one.
Miles' backstory was also really interesting, and I loved seeing him develop throughout the novel as well. I also adored the cast of side characters. They were so much fun, and really blew a breath of fresh air into this novel. I'm especially talking about Julia and Ashleigh with this, but truly every single side character was incredible. Ugh, I just fucking loved this book. Excuse me, while I go cry in a corner thinking about it.

Some of my issues were with the writing. Some inconsistencies would take me out of the story. They were minimal but to me a bit disruptive. This is the freshest on my mind since it happened in the last chapter but Elda is the character but she is referred to Elsa at one point. Another issue was the 90% conflict. It felt somewhat cheap. The miscommunication was kind of ridiculous. I had other issues but I can't remember at the moment: TBD.
Overall, it was enjoyable and I will probably read more from Emily Henry.
