the yearly emily henry read is back!!
the romance was really cute and lovely, but somehow the story didn’t catch me like her other books.
which is weird because those are maybe my favourite emily henry characters so far?
but i kind of had the feeling that not much was happening? and idk, it was a romance novel and the first one of those that i picked out this year simply for the romance part. but like apart from that, i had the feeling that not much was happening?
but to be totally fair, it was a character-driven book and the characters were extremely well-built and had so many facets abd issues and just overall felt very real.
and ALSO, daphne is a children’s librarian? that’s so cool?
