Pretty standard romance novel. Main Girl is quirky and loves books and identifies as a Charlotte instead of a Lizzie. Main Boy is rough around the edges but falls madly in love with the Main Girl. It was very fun and lovely and I love anything that champions the coast of Lake Michigan. But as much as the main characters were giving each other mixed signals, I felt the same. Their emotional identities felt like moving targets that weren’t entirely clear, so the character development wasn’t as rewarding in the end. But overall I’m really happy for those weirdos and I wish they had just bought the green house.

An amazing book! The dialogue is witty and hilarious.  Many moments had me reflecting on the small and beautiful parts of friendship.

Loved it! Emily Henry outdid herself with this one, i was giggling and kicking my feet all the time, the only issue is the miscomunication trope, can't stand it.
