This book still makes me cry! Even after reading it 11 times now. This book still gets to me! This is an amazing series, the writing, the story, the characters, just everything!!
I can’t get over how much I love this series!
I’ve read it 10 times now and it gets me every time.
I love rose and dimitri’s chemistry and the building of their relationship. I will never bore of reading this series!!

I definitely wouldn't have guessed the ending from where it started. Lots of inner struggle and jealousy, but not to the point of being annoying. Rose is still a hot-head but as a character, she's making progress. The last 50 pages hold most of the punch, literally.

Wow!This book is leaps and bounds better than the first one. I understand that Mead had to establish her world in most of the first book, so that explains why it seemed to drag. However, this book starts its action immediately and does not stop until the last page. This book really shows off the series potential to become a ya classic.

loved the way this story developed. I read the first in the series a while ago but had no problem getting back into it, although I thought it was going abit slow to start with I couldn't put it down. another vampire series I'm hooked on XD

The thing about the Vampire Academy books is that they’re so entertaining but so predictable.
For example- immediately after Isaiah or whatever his name is told them that someone can be uncuffed to kill one of the guardians, I KNEW Rose would get Christian to free her so they could escape. I KNEW it, and was still entertained. I also guessed that Adrien had spirit and that Mason would die. But here I am, giving it a four star review anyways.
(Yes I know that me bragging about guessing the plot twists is really unnecessary and cocky and sounds really fake, but I just wanted to put that out there.)
