Another fun novella that explores another aspect of the world through an incredibly tight plot and great characters. I enjoyed this novella more than Edgedancer, primarily just because I liked the characters more. A fun adventure into an ancient abandoned city? Sign me up every time.

I love how Sanderson brings stories together and gives smaller characters a chance to shine. The Lopen is the best and this is my favorite short story in the series so far!

I knew the story was about Rysn, so I was excited when realized that the Lopen is one of the side characters. Can't get enough of the guy.
The problem with this "short story" is that it gets over too soon. Luckily in it we got some interesting details about the world.
