This author has published a ton of books, which tells me two things: one, she's popular and sells; and two, she probably doesn't put a lot of effort or research into the books. Dangerous Minds is evidence of the latter. The writing and dialog is strained and unimaginative, and the science (in this case, geology) is just wrong.
slow-paced

Definitely not as good as the first one

A nice little sequel, but next time leave out Vernon. He was fine as a very minor character in the first book but extremely bothersome in his expanded role in this offering.

Pretty much along the same lines as most Janet Evanovich. This new series is less predictable than most of her Stephanie Plum books, lets hope it stays that way. I do enjoy the Stephanie Plum books but find them pretty much the same. I do like the second book in this series but my favorite of Janet Evanovich is the Fox and O'Hare novels...perhaps collaborating with Lee Goldberg makes the differance!!

Great audiobook narration!

A bit of a wacky adventure. Definitely cheesy, but fun.
