Over the top, even for Evanovich. I found Curious Minds amusing, but this was just dumb. If there is another in this series, I will forego it

This series isn't Evanovich's best work.

What I do like is the evil geniuses and scientific content in the plot.
Mostly I listen to this series for Lorelai King and her fantastic narration.

I suspect I missed the first book. Not as many laughs as Stephanie plum.

This was better than the first book in the Knight and Moon series. Emerson Knight was less annoying than the first book, which accounted largely for my opinion of the book as a whole. I really enjoy Janet Evanovich's books, but after the first book in this series, Curious Minds, I didn't think I'd be able to read another one. I gave this one a shot, however, and found that she seems to be starting to understand that there's a difference between nerdy/quirky/cute and nerdy/obnoxious/irritating. This book is worth a read, and I hope to see even more character development in the next book.

A fun humorous adventure story with light science fiction elements. I'd give it 3.5 stars if Goodreads would allow it.

Good fun with an interesting concept.

More like a 3.5. Reliable entertainment from Ms. E. There were laugh out loud moments. Same narrator in the audio version as they have been using for the Stephanie Plum books, and I like her, but Vernon sounds a bit too much like Lula sometimes LOL. This one had a science-y plot too it, hope of some of it at least was based on some thing vaguely true. Keep them coming!

It's like a sequel to a sequel to a sequel of National Treasure. Implausible and wacky.
