I've rarely read a romance in which the separation before reunion felt more visceral and necessary than this one, and in which the characters fight their way through their challenges not to run into each others' arms, but to seek out how the other is. It's beautiful, tender and careful without being at all sappy. I loved this story. I loved all the bits at the end, too. This found family is great and I want all their stories.
