This is my first Niki Sloane. I’m really happy I started with this one. The Doctor is a “taboo” age gap romance between a girls ex boyfriends father and herself. And my god this was steamy.
What I didn’t like:
I didn’t like how dr.lowe kept saying in the beginning that “This is so wrong your so young.” When yeah she was young but she is a consenting adult. Cassidy isn’t a minor. If she was this book would of been trashed for me. The other thing is I was just able to call some things that were going to happen. That last one is mainly just a little nit-pic.
What I liked:
Dr. Lowe, aka now the sexiest 40 year old doctor ever. He was just a big old softie at heart. No facades, no pretences—he was straightforward from the get go about what it is he wanted and I loved him at first glimpse because of that. He treated her like a woman should be treated by their partner. So it was so refreshing to see that maturity in a hero (in and out of the bedroom).

Now for Dr.lowe and Cassaidy. They had me swooning. Their age gap was fun. She was able to teach him certien thing and he was able to show hwe things. It was never awkward.
'—I tried to teach him how to use Snapchat. He told me the filters were stupid, so I put flowers in his hair and showed him how gorgeous he looked. He’d ripped the phone out of my hands, threw it onto his bed, then tossed me down beside it, his hands going for the button of my shorts and an evil grin on his face.'
Last thing I want to mention is the steamy scenes. My god they were amazing! So steamy and just sinful, yes, sinful! But in the sinning-is-winning kinda way. Which is why and only why, if you’re good with kinky smut for the better part of an erotic romance, and by that I mean almost every other page, This books is only a bit over 200 pages so just be prepared for that. I’d recommend this a lot if you want a sweet and steamy age gap romance. :)

I cannot BELIEVE this was the same person who wrote the Initiation. This was WAY better! I liked it a lot!! It committed the way the Initiation didn't! Go big or go home and this book went big. Loved it
I love a good instalove taboo romance that gets wrapped up in a neat little bow with very heated spicy scenes. It had a plot and I loved Greg and Cassidy. But for some reason I felt this was just okay. I cannot put my finger on it, but may I just wanted more. More character development of the side characters, more story to read, more depth to the conflicts...just more. But I still liked this a lot and would say it is worth the read. Maybe I was not ready for it.
It was a nice read.
