Not really sure how I feel about this one… it’s not bad, but for me, it was a bit slow and I found many of the characters unlikeable. I’d like to know where the story goes, but I don’t think I’ll read any more of them.
I loved this book, I'm not sure why everyone is being so harsh about it. I read it in a few hours and it kept me entertained throughout the whole thing. Love Janie and Reeve as characters
This was a book I really enjoyed when I had to read it in class sometime in middle school. I'm glad I re-read it, because I remembered very little of it, and I read it in practically one sitting. The mystery was still really good, but some of the characters wore on me a bit. Janie was a little annoying, but I cut her some slack since she just made a life altering discovery. Reeve was actually the worst though lmao. I'm not sure if high school boys were just like that, but he was so self-centred and claimed to really like Janie but for so much of the book got annoyed whenever she'd bring up her kidnapping. Like, it's a pretty big deal?? Anyway, I'm not sure if I ever finished the series when I was younger, but I plan to this time and see where it goes.

Wow what a ride I'm so glad I picked this book for my popsugar challenge for the year that I was born. I had seen my sisters reading this growing up and decided to give it a try. I was not prepared for how much I would love it I love the characters I love the setting it definitely kept me on my toes the entire time. The only thing I didn't like was the pressure for sex. But considering the time this was written it is understandable. But not endorsed.

This book was good, I was really hooked on it, and it was a very suspenseful mystery but WAY to much romance, I haven't read the rest of the series yet.
