This book was great but it was a little slow in some parts (didn't really matter since it was so short.) I loved Janie because she was so normal and I felt so bad that this could happen to anyone.

This may be read alone or as part one in a five book series. Good plot about a teenage girl who sees her own picture on the side of a milk carton that advertises missing children. The turmoil she feels is well depicted.

A book I reread and reread. This one must have started it all, as well as another book I found in my elementary school library.

I remember enjoying this book as a teen.

This was a good book, it captivated me from the beginning. Janie finds herself on a milk carton. What happened?
I liked how Janie wouldn't give up on trying to find the truth, but how it took her three quarters of the book to finally get ready to call her real family, was a little bit annoying. Janie would break down and go all: I'm not ready! But, I can't really blame her after all.
Anyways, the ending was such a cliffhanger!! It was written really well.
I liked this book, although I started to lose my hold on it during the end, when everything sort of got jumbled up... but it was really good.

I remember reading this book when I was younger and really enjoying it. Even now it is still a really great book. I had no idea there were so many other books in the series. I look forward to seeing how it ends.

This story was very interesting and different than anything I have read. By the end of the book I was dying to get my hands on the next one.

It’s a yikes from me

ten years later after reading this the first time I sat down just to check out the chapter and ended up reading the entire book in one sitting again.
