Although I enjoyed this book, it wasn’t my favourite from the author, who I adore. I love the way they write, this too was beautifully written, it just didn’t grab me like the others did. Still a recommended read.

A bit of a slow start, but once it got going I loved it. The fact it is based on a true story is even more gut wrenching. I don't want to add spoilers but it was such an emotionally strong book. I really loved it.
