I enjoyed the conclusion of our journey with Alosa and Riden.
While I enjoyed the first book more, I was still very entertained and I loved every word in this book. Everything was tied up and presented with a pretty bow on top.
More past was revealed with our characters, we met Alosa's crew (who I loved), and we loved and we lost.
Alosa's father was the worst but I was so happy to meet her mother who was lovely. And some justices were dished out in full, thank you. I'm just very pleased and glad I picked these books up. They were so entertaining and I am forever hooked on pirates now thanks to it.
I had so much fun reading this duo and I loved our quirky characters. I hope to see what else Tricia writes in the future.

great ending but the buildup dragged & i found myself zoning out of the audiobook a lot. however, it was still as enjoyable to listen to as the first book; this narrator is definitely one of my favorites!

Easy read. Interactions between Kearan and Enwen were endearing. I was still looking for something more tho. I may have liked it better if the main girl had spent more time in her mother's kingdom or if the siren kingdom was developed and explored better.
