This my first dark romance and first mafia man. Let’s just say the girlies weren’t lying. I loved this book sm it was very entertaining and literally never had me bored. Slay

Characters: 4 ⭐️
- Rory was okay, not too many character traits though.
- Angelo was lickable, just like all the maffia men in books.

World building: 4⭐️

Plot: 3.5⭐️
- well-executed in the first half, got sloppy halfway through

Romance: 4⭐️
- once a sucker for a maffia man, always a sucker for a maffia man. What can I say?
- Liked their chemistry

Spice: 4 ⭐️
- most scenes I loved, though that one scene in the end was a bit rushed

Pacing: 3.5⭐️
- really, really good in the beginning, but didn’t feel consistent for the last 25%

Pageturner: 5⭐️
- could absolutely not put this down

Other notes (including SPOILERS‼️🚨⚠️):
- definitely one of the best maffia romance books I’ve ever read. Will be reading more from this author!
- Why give me a pregnancy scare out of nowhere, just to then don’t come back to your “we didn’t use a condom remark” 😭 I hate that
- The ending felt easy to me, as if she didn’t know how to include the final fight. This also made the pacing feel off at the end
