And I LOVE ANGELO. A man turns back to his roots for you? Woohoo. Didn’t know that’s what was going to do it for me.

Was def expecting the line in the sand to be crossed (kind of disappointed it wasn’t, actually - I had a much more entertaining plot in mind). Could’ve done without the bird curses as well, felt super silly, like Rory was this innocent naive girl who also willingly was marrying a mob boss?

so i didn't loved as much as thought i would, but i was still entertained with the plot and the mcs. i liked the forbidden part and the slow burn, but again it was nothing that changed my life.
i liked rory and angelo, but they aren't everything to me. i guess what kind of throw me off was the bird curses (it was so bad i wanted to kms) and the fact that she was like "oh i do bad things and bla bla bla" when she didn't do shit lol. i get that she was feeling guilty about something she thought she'd to do, but i was such part of the plot that at some point i really thought she commited a big fucking sin or something.
anyway, i still enjoyed the book and because i hate myself, i'll read the rest 💀 i feel like everybody love the other two books so i guess i will give it a chance

Saw ppl saying that they think this is better than the made series which made my expectations very high.. it‘s a good book and was fun to read but not even 0,1% better than the made series
