This is so beautifully tragic.

Will just want to help and have real compeny and friends but with all his planning they still didn't trust him to the right thing and it will condemned them all to death. I hope violet will realize her mistake in time and wouldn't drive him so far away that he would become a self forfiling prophecy, as hinted in this paragraph:

"Later, she’d remember that Will had been the only one talking about stopping the army, while the rest of them were caught up in old feuds."

But the tragic of all is James, Will had managed to not put on him the collar all this time and then Sinclair comes and decides that he Will control James but all that he does is make James mindlessly serve will unlike what Will wanted, that James will be stay with him form his own volition.

tears are streaming down my face, but not because i’m sad, but because WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU FUCKING MEAN? i’m sitting here with my mouth open in shock.

the first book was incredible, but this book was actually everything. it was action packed, there was something crucial happening on every single page.

i wanna say i love all the characters (as i did after reading Dark Rise), but i’m not actually sure i do. i don’t know what to think anymore. about anyone.

from this day on, everyday, i will pray for book 3 to come as fast as possible. please. 🤲🏻

Acabé el libro, o el libro acabó conmigo? Seria duda (socorro).
Ha sido tan pero TAN entretenido DIOS MIO.
La dinámica entre Will y James y el desarrollo de Will mientras mantenía su secreto fueron tan MARAVILLOSOS DE LEER. Los demás… bueno, estaban ahí y bien, soportables I guess.

James te amo por favor C.S Pacat dale un buen final.
