Absolute beast of a novel. 11/10. We all need to thank Stephanie Meyers personally for making gothic romance novels popular again and also for all the good she’s done in pioneering the paranormal romance genre!!!! it’s the future bram stoker would’ve wanted!!!!

Ah, Twilight, Twilight, Twilight… what more can I say? Do you ever get the urge to revisit something you loved as a child/teen, even though it’s complete trash? That’s how I ended up here.
We all know the story, we all know the characters, I’m not going to go into detail, but sometimes you just need to revisit something trashy and have a good time.
Bella’s annoying, Edward’s controlling, the storyline is as simple as can be. Is this a good book? No. Is this an entertaining book? Absolutely. Honestly, 3 stars is generous, but the nostalgia is real… 😂

Total guilty pleasure, but I really enjoyed this fun teen vampire romance. I would have loved this in junior high!!

I really had a hard time getting into this book. The beginning is slow and somewhat dull. It didn't make a lot of sense on the first read through. Once Edward was introduced the story slowly sucked me in. Stephenie Meyer writes teen love angst extremely well making the characters relate-able.
The companion Midnight Sun excerpt from Stephenie's website filled in the gaps nicely for me, so upon reread, Twilight became a favorite.

Got to give it you Twi-hards. It was actually pretty good. A tad dramatic and teen angsty, but good. Fascinating, actually and still a little creepy.

Didn't think I would like this at all - finished in a day.
