Rowling never disappoints. In the third installment of the Harry Potter series, Harry, a 13 y/o wizard comes across Knight Bus, who carries him to London, after another bad summer at the Dursleys.

With the news of an escaped murderer, Sirius Black, making rounds on both Muggles’ and Wizards’ world, Harry comes to know that he is after him.

Death omens & Dementors crowd this chapter & finishes with a twist. Another great year at Hogwarts!

This is my favorite of the series. The 3 are getting older, and the mood is darkening, but the stakes aren’t too high yet. The best book and movie, in my opinion. But of course, they’re all excellent, and picking a favorite is still like picking a favorite child.
