This was about an estranged couple who, I thought, were playing practical jokes on each other, but really they were just lying to try and manipulate each other. They were estranged because of a stupid situation that could have been cleared up with one conversation, a trope I find tiresome. The characters weren’t very well developed, and some of the minor characters were fairly interchangeable. Parts of the book were pleasant enough and funny, but there are much better romances out there.

I know the book was supposed to be funny but the way the two main characters treated each other just made me mad. So much could have been solved just by communicating.

3.5 rounded to 4 stars.

Charming and witty even though I felt it should have wrapped up perhaps just a little bit faster. Still an enjoyable read if you at all like the reconciliation trope of romantic fiction. Not my usual cup of tea, to be sure, so be sure to keep that in mind.

4 years? Really?

It's the most ridiculous book I’ve ever read - and I've read some ridiculous stuff.

I don’t know why I bothered finishing it.

The writing was good, but the characters were so frustratingly childish. I do appreciate that it featured a married couple and showed that, even after some years, they too can experience romance.

For people who love the Bridgerton show, this is a perfect next read.
I actually enjoyed this way more than the Bridgerton books because this book was so much more consensual and fun instead of taking itself so seriously and only being sexy all the time.
I am also SO excited to see the other characters pair off and I have my suspicions already.
