This was my first Agatha Raisin book and it really fell flat for me. Too bad. I'm fairly certain it is a stand alone, but maybe I did myself a disservice by not reading them in order. ????
Agatha Raisin just didn't come off as very likable and was a little rough around the edges.
The mystery was super 'blah.'
I almost didn't finish it.

Agatha Raisin is a wonderfully flawed sleuth and this foray into her world guarantees I'll be back for more.
