Slightly better than the last book. This one had a decent mystery and some nice developments in the lives of the side characters. I'm not sure I trust Agatha's "changes," as those rarely seem to stick.

Despite the title, Christmas played only a small role. Still, there were a few welcome laugh-out-loud moments. And I did not at all care for the narrator. Penelope Keith does a much better job with this series.

3 out of 5 stars.

I've watched quite a few episodes of this on TV, but this is the first book I've read of Agatha Raisin. I thoroughly enjoyed it. A very easy read and I was able to connect with the characters. I love murder mystery stories like these, so will definitely look to read more.
