Loved the premise of the book and enjoyed Magda’s growth throughout. But it felt like Magda was missing from the book in places. Her dialogue wasn’t there in conversations, and we weren’t shown what she was thinking. Maybe because the character didn’t know herself? Wanted to love this one and I rooted for Magda but it fell flat.
