It's so good, I don't see why it's gone under the radar. It's about this monster hunter named Dymitr, he recently decide to no longer hunt monsters and is seeking penance for his past. It features a lot of creatures from Polish folklore and it uses them in a new way. Basically a lot for Polish creatures immigrated to the USA when Russia tried to take Poland. Anyways it's really cool and a really good book. If it have a flavor it'd be black licorice, the best kind. It kind of made me want to learn about my mom's family since we didn't retain the polish language, the red scare kind of killed it for us. These books are really short almost too short but that means the writing is really tight and I could barely put this series down after I started reading it. It is a bit dark though, just a warning for the light-hearted
