I loved the way this story layers Slavic myth (which was also very fun to learn a bit about) in an urban fantasy setting and fell into the world building effortlessly. I admit I would be distracted if I didn't know there was to come, but even as a novella the character arcs were incredibly engaging and satisfying in that way that leaves you wanting more but with enough imagination that you could be content to ponder the possibilities of it ended here. Very much looking forward to the next one.

Just absolutely lovely and best gone into with little to no knowledge of its summary.
