i think my main reason for struggling with this one is never having the experience of being so close to someone after only a day. i enjoy the concept though and the idea of two people trying to help each other out when they’re struggling and i also like how realistically things go differently. 

the absence of her mom made me quite sad especially because they just started being close again. i love that will met her before she passed

Epilogue had me SOB

this was so good. Love the lake vibes, love the lesson to do what’s best for YOU, loved the main characters

Only reason this is 4.75 was because I wasn’t pulled to DEVOUR it, not a bad thing, it was more cozy

The pace was a bit slower than her first book, but I did enjoy the unique plot.  Her books are perfect summer reads. I do wonder if she’ll ever break the pattern of time switches with her narration style.
