It took me way too long to finish this. I expected Wraith’s story to be, well, about Wraith. Instead, Gem and Ky take way too much page time, and at times it kinda felt like Wraith was a secondary character in his own book. Also, Serena calls him Josh until pretty much the last page, and I freaking hated that. The whole business with the child was eye-roll worthy at best, I mean, bad boy Wraith suddenly wants children? C’mon! Families can be complete without children.
Another thing that bothers me is the “magical hoo-ha” thing, where just having sex with her solves every and all issues he ever had not only about humans but about vampires as well. Years of trauma are gone and forgotten with an orgasm (or a couple of them, since Wraith can have multiples). And of course, he has a magic dick as well, since she’s able to forgive everything he did just to get it on the regular. Some potent aphrodisiac, that Seminus stuff. The way her virginity is discussed is creepy, and the way it's equaled to penetrative sex is very narrow-minded. This story definitely didn’t age well.
