3.5 stars ~ story is good, writing is mid. this is her first novel so I’m not surprised. still would read if your imagination can make up for some gaps in the writing.

First fantasy/romantasy book and it wasn’t bad! I enjoyed the story and the plot but I feel like it ended well and didn’t need more books? I haven’t read the other ones but I will update when I do.

took me a while to finish this because the first part took me so long to read because it didn't interest me that much but once i reached the second half i basically sped through the book lol this isn’t the best book i’ve read by any means and the writing is confusing and weird at times, but i enjoyed it enough while reading so yeah
