I really enjoyed this book. I’m starting to feel like I may be a fantasy girl! This was a great twist about leaders fighting to break a curse to save their people but finding out things about each other and trying to find out who created the curse. It was great I’m excited for book 2!

I would give this book a 3.75 out of 5. I really enjoyed this book! I was very nervous to read this book because I had heard mixed reviews, either you love it or you hate it. I was very pleasantly surprised! The writing was face paced, descriptive but not dragging, and the characters I really enjoyed. Their banter was great and really cute.
Isla was a great female character. I loved her development, but also the fact that she wasn't a whiny weak FMC.
I loved the immediate chemistry between Isla and Grim. The YEARNING from this man was fantastic! Who doesn't love a dark mysterious MMC?!
I had a love/hate relationship with Oro. However towards the end I ended up liking him, but Grim is still my mans.
Great plot and twisty ending that I ate up.

My only complaint was that sometimes the repetitive story line got annoying.
