This was a fun Christmas read. If I’m honest I don’t love how Peter Swanson wrote his female characters, but I do like the plots of his books so I roll my eyes and keep it pushing.

This was a wonderful novella, I was skeptical about the mystery of it all, but it was very well written. The Christmas vibes are also so present in this book. Even when reading in the beginning of summer, it made me want to sit by a fire and drink a warm holiday drink.
