Short and sweet, well as sweet as a crime novel can be.
Told through the eyes of a victim and perpetrator, this was a great read.

A gothic mystery to whet your Christmas appetite with a bonus, for me, in that much of the story is diary entries -- I love an epistolary! It is twisty and turny with more twists and more turns in a tight little entertaining read.
I liked this a lot more than I expected. Easy, quick read with a really great twist that I did not see coming. Part One of the story is a diary entry, for which the writing style was immaculately accurate - I felt like I was reading something I’d written from my own journal. Great characterisation and pacing. Particularly cosy Christmas atmosphere that bounces off the more chilling, sinister plot developing in the background. Would definitely love to read more from this author!
This was a very fun thriller novella. It's just around 100 pages and is a perfect one-sitting read for the holidays, if you don't mind murder.
It was a quick easy read, with an interesting twist.
Fantastic sized book for a Christmas read! Enjoyed the twists.
A nice little festive mystery novella, a little too predictable for my liking but a fun read nonetheless. I finished this in one sitting.
Great Christmas novella (mystery crime)! Peter Swanson is just so good!
