I went into this book blind; just knowing it was a Christmas mystery set in the British countryside.
OH boy!, is this good. The book is short but packs a punch. I recommend that you stop looking any more reviews and just start reading. Don't peek and have thing be spoiled.

Really enjoyed this short Christmas thriller! The author said he wanted to write something dark, with strong holiday atmosphere, that could be enjoyed in a single sitting with eggnog - and I'd say he nailed it.

This story was a fun, quick read. It makes you think it’s all about Christmas, possibly a love story, but turns out different than you would expect. If you like quick, dark, somewhat puzzling reads, this book is for you.
