Somehow both dark and lighthearted? A simple read. About a quarter of the book wasn’t necessary. Not that it was too long - it’s a very quick novella - but because it over explained a part of the plot that was already very obvious from a different perspective that didn’t add much. Then the ending threw me for a look. Other than that I enjoyed reading it.
