took me a longgg time to finish as i kept putting the book down although it started off really strong. i finally finished and i will definitely be reading the rest of the series. i like the type of yearning used in this book with the use of a strong woman lead so it truly was not all about Jude’s relationships and more to do with a fiery fantasy coming of age and revenge.

Thank you so much Holly Black for blessing us with this masterpiece that once I got into I couldn’t put down. Not gonna lie you had me nervous for the first hundred pages but once we got started, the plot hit the ground RUNNING!! Amazing, stellar, fantastic, otherworldly, perfect in every way. I was eating it upppp. I can’t wait to read the next book.
