Such a let down after first book. Plot was all over the place, pacing was off. Such a mess

the pacing still just feels kind of uneven, so it was a struggle to keep my attention on the book (similar to book 1). i like the plot more as it’s developing but it still just feels kind of clunky

Didn't enjoy this one as much as the 1st, but still had a good time. The ending was very satisfying, so I hope book 3 is more my speed.
I didn't vibe well with some of the decisions taken by our main cast, especially those that are supposed to be more experienced.The cheating also made me really uncomfortable. It would be one thing if Nick and Bree weren't explicitly a couple, or had at least talked about being in a throuple with Sel, but as written it made me dislike Bree and Sel quite a bit. Then again, I am really sensitive to that sort of thing.

This is my second time reading Bloodmarked, and I was able to notice more on the second read-through. The book was great, although I found Bree really annoying as a protagonist in the book.
Loved loved loved the book I had a point at the start when I said ok I'm done but then I stuck through and look where we are now finished 🥹🥹
