I feel like an idiot, because of the ending. She exonerated everyone, and I still didn't suspect Dr. Sheppard. Best murder mystery I've read in forever.

This was my first Agatha Christie, and I totally see the hype around her Hercule Poirot books!
The main detective, Poirot, is a fascinating person through whom Christie so elegantly (and at times cutely) unravels the mystery at hand. This mystery in particular was thrilling to the last pages, holding your hand steadily throughout and then BAM throwing you to the ground like WHAT! I would suggest others read this as their first Christie, too.
